  • Why pick an ex-corporate device?

    Computer manufacturers split up their product categories into two distinct lines: business grade and consumer grade. Consumer grade PC’s are designed to be cheap to manufacture and as such are made from cheaper materials. Business grade PC’s are designed to be used 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and are built to last longer than consumer grade PC’s

    Build Quality
    Commercial grade computers are made from metal alloys, aluminium and other hard wearing materials that give a level of durability that a consumer PC cannot match.

    Display
    Most business grade LCD’s have a matte-finish that does not reflect glare like glossy monitors do. This provides a better viewing experiencing and improved visibility in sunlight.

  • What payments methods do you accept?

    We accept payment via credit card, PayPal and bank transfer/deposit.

  • What are your warranty terms?

    All our products come with a 3 month return to base warranty unless stated otherwise.


    Any product which is still under warranty may be returned for a Warranty Claim. Buycom offers a Return-to-Base Warranty with all our items however you are responsible for returning the items under Warranty to our Melbourne office at your expense.

    We highly recommend that you choose a tracking service when sending your item/s back and consider insuring the product for the amount of your original purchase in the event the item goes missing. Buycom is not liable for any losses incurred during transit.

  • What is your Refund and Return Policy?

    All products sold by Buycom are second hand unless otherwise specified.


    Our warranty covers items which are not functional due to a specific hardware fault. This applies to all components, fans, parts, LCD panels etc. unless specifically excluded. Consumable parts such as laptop batteries are not covered by the warranty. Malfunctions caused by software issues such as viruses and operating system errors are not covered by the warranty.


    Please choose carefully as we reserve the right not to provide refunds or exchanges if you change your mind once you have received the goods. We may decide, at our sole discretion, to accept non-faulty goods for a refund, however a re-stocking fee of 25% may be charged as well as other non-refundable costs incurred by us (for example Credit Card Handling Fee, Postage, etc).


    Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 you may seek a refund if goods:

    • - are or become faulty through no fault of your own

    • - are not fit for a stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff

    • - don’t match our description or sample

  • How do I make a warranty claim?

    Our process is easy! Simply send an email to info@buycom.com.au and one of our technicians will contact you with further instructions.

    Please include the following information:

    • Name

    • Receipt Number

    • Address

    • Product Fault

  • How long does it take for my order to be delivered?

    We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours. You can then expect to receive your order within 3 - 7 business days, provided the product is in stock at the time of the order.

    If you have selected priority express shipping, your order will ship within 24 hours via priority airfreight.

  • What do the different condition grades stand for?

    All of our products are rigorously tested to meet our quality standards. To ensure customer satisfaction, we use a comprehensive quality control report to identify the cosmetic condition of all of our ex-lease products. Please note, all of our products are repackaged.

    Our classification guidelines are as follows:

    A
    A well cared for product that is in excellent condition, with no faults. The product may show minimal traces of usage including light scratches, minimal scuffing or minor cosmetic blemishes.

    A -
    A well cared for product that is in excellent condition, with no faults. The product may show minimal traces of usage including light scratches, minimal scuffing or minor cosmetic blemishes. Some accessories or parts may be missing.

    B
    A product that has seen some use but remains in great working condition, with no faults. The product may show heavier traces of usage including minor damage, scratches, scuffing, dents or chips on external surfaces or general wear and tear.

    B -
    A product that has seen some use but remains in great working condition, with no faults. The product may show heavier traces of usage including minor damage, scratches, scuffing, dents or chips on external surfaces or general wear and tear. Some accessories or parts may be missing.

    C
    A product that is fairly worn and contains faults. The product may show heavy traces of usage including major damage, scratches, scuffing, dents or chips on external surfaces or worn corners. It may also have identifying markings or show other signs of obvious use. Some accessories or parts may be missing.
